Peyton had been at the Great Hall munching on some sugar buns with a goblet full of milk, reading a magazine on the Falmouth Falcons. She was reading this special report that had an interview on her dad
dy. She had been so enthralled that she had forgotten about something she told herself not to forget a week ago. It was only when she saw the date of the interview that something sparked in her mind.
Tapping her chin, the redhead thought long and hard about the thing she had forgotten about. Shaking her head and shrugging her shoulders, Peyton went back to reading her magazine. The word star caught her attention. She stared at it. Star...star...
Oh, cranberries!
Her star! She had to go make a star! Closing her magazine and stuffing it into her bag, Peyton stood up and dashed out of the Great Hall and up the tower to the Astrophysics laboratory. Stopping just outside, she held her side and gasped for air. Every time she came up here she was tempted to use her broom and fly instead.
After regaining her breath, the third year entered the laboratory and went to the closet where the lab coats and protective goggles were. Slipping them on, Peyton went and got a jar and placed it on a table as she sat on a stool. Taking out out her quill, she wrote her name on the tag...
She underlined her name just to make it clear to everyone that this was HER jar and that HER star was going to live in there.
