A second later, her eyes were back on the one with the wand. She was talking all sorts of big words now, words Veronica didn't hear too often in this neck of the woods. She grinned again. This woman didn't come here often enough, did she?

"What kind of ingredients do you have there, hmm?" she asked. "We don't need your flobberworm mucus here in the Alley."
