Scarlet appeared out of one of the Floo stations. This was the fourth time she came out of that one in the last five minutes. She stepped out and then approached the next one, her hand on her hip and a bored look on her face.

This was her first day of work here, and she and the others in the Floo monitoring section had been sent to be sure that the Floo stations were all working. HUMPH! She was the only one who showed up, it appeared. She wondered if the department was full of goof-offs.
