Cole has a very loud and show off-y personality. And he is proud of it. It's not annoying or anything to do with ego. He just simply is like that. Growing among all the boys and a very male dominant house - he has just been wired to be this way.

He likes to be constantly involved in something - doing something, being busy. That is the key to him being super-active, aware, present.

He has a habit of getting obsessed with what he can't handle- which is why he switched from his major in Charms to Dragons because it came to him as a challenge - after being burned, attacked, scratched (evidences of which can be found on his back) - Cole found his mentor Rosa McClane and learned and worked hard.
