"Can anyone tell me what the disillusionment charm is?" They were starting and they were being observed by Carter Phillips. Well, whatever. Not important to her obviously more important charms lesson. Bliss listened to Professor Bellaire and raised her eyes to the board. Disillusionment charm. Of course she'd noticed. Hmmm, she wondered whether Bellaire had charmed anything in the room before they came. Maybe there would be surprises waiting for them!? ...No practical yet? POUT. The practical bit was always the best part though.
Ooooh, she knew this. "It makes a person or object disappear." Okay, so she wasn't explaining it very well. She tried again. "Or rather, it gives the illusion that they aren't there, but they are. You just can't tell. A bit like ... like .." Bliss struggled for the word. "...a chameleon!" That was is. The little lizard-like creature that could blend to it's surrounding and camouflage and whatnot. Pretty smart if you asked her. A lot of muggles and wizards alike kept them as pets, she believe.
BLINK. Actually, she was surprised that people didn't lose them. |
