Hearing the warning for the candidates to get up on the stage, Roxanne first made her way to the restroom to make sure that everything was still in place and there was nothing in her teeth. Once she was satisfied with her appearance (meaning that there was nothing in her teeth, caught in her lipstick, and not a hair out of place), she moved to the stage with all the grace of that president she'd studied videos of, oh what was his name? Oh right, Obama. Anyway, the point was that she was moving like she was perfectly at ease. Which was all a part of her game plan.
Once she got onto the stage, she gave a big wave and a bright smile until she was about halfway across the stage, then she made the rest of the journey to her seat rather demurely. Taking her seat, she mentally patted herself on the back for her performance so far and waited calmly for her fellow candidates to take their seats. Nope, no nervousness here. At least by outside appearances. Inside, though, was a different story.....
