Now that Alyssa had figured out how the showers worked, she quickly opened up her umbrella and inspected it first. She checked to make sure that nothing had changed since she had brought it transfigured it from a shoe lace and had brought it up from House Study Table.

She peered closely at the joints where the spokes met the cover, checking to see whether any holes had appeared but after some close inspection, she didn't see any.

'Okay time to test you out.' Alyssa thought to herself as she picked up the umbrella and placed moved it up to shelter her before she stepped under the shower head.

Immediately, like a motion sensored muggle equipment would do, the shower sensed her presence under its head and started spraying water. And like before in class, Alyssa began to sing, changing some of the lyrics to the song, just in case, there were young 'uns in the room with her.

Even as Alyssa danced under the shower with the umbrella sheltering her, she kept an eye for any sign of leakages. 'So far so good.' Alyssa thought to herself. Once she was done singing her song, she figured that if she didn't see any leakages by now, that meant that her umbrella had passed the test.

She stepped out of from under the shower head unwilling to end her time under it, but she knew that she needed to head back to the Study Tables and finish up writing up her report before she submitted it to Professor Magnus. Closing the umbrella, Alyssa folded it shut and made her way out of the Showers, humming the tune to the song quietly.
