It was strange yet exciting to be back in the Ministry of Magic. Atticus hadn't really been here since the day he had stepped down from his Department Head position, so it was neat to be back - and it felt somehow different, being here as a Board of Governor candidate instead of the Creature Department head. It was a nice different though, even if he still had to participate in another debate.

Speaking of which, he hoped this one would go better than the last one. Not that the previous one in Hogsmeade had gone badly since he did manage to avoid being in the bottom three, but he definitely had not been quite himself during that debate. He had babbled far too much, and there were a few things he was sure he would not have said or would have worded better if he had been in his right mind. Hopefully this one would he would not go through that again, even if it meant this time he had to properly deal with his nerves.

Atticus decided he wouldn't think about that too much now, however. Right now, he should try to find someone to talk to. Perhaps one of his former employees if they were still here? Or...ah, wasn't that the woman who had been chosen as the new Magical Creatures Department Head? He was quite certain he recognized her as the one. No harm in asking, right?

"Ms. Wellington?" he asked as he walked towards her with a friendly smile.
