"Roxanne Carter, Board of Governors candidate. Pleasure meeting you this afternoon, Mr. Berg," she returned with a pleasant smile, shaking his hand as well. "Thank you very much. You look rather dashing yourself."
Bjorn was a bit surprised by Roxanne's words, but he understood her feelings.
"Oh, the pleasure is all mine, I assure you!" he said graciously. He let go of her hand as she continued.
"You are too kind, Miss Carter." Especially when compared with the woman who had interrupted them.

Well. Well well. And she'd said she despised him. Women. He had to mentally shake himself back to focusing on Roxanne and Bjorn, but could he be blamed for being a red-blooded male? No sir. He just hoped his jaw hadn't dropped during that little spectacle.... Should he go after her? Would that look bad? Probably. He probably shouldn't call too much attention to their alliance. The manager wouldn't approve.
But he would go seek her out later to tell her just how smashing she looked. Really outshone the competition. Very attractive attire. Ahem. He needed a distraction...
And there it was, Nolan Reynolds. One could always count on him to arrive at the worst of times. "Reynolds," Erik blinked away his thoughts and gave the guy a cool nod. "Vis is my campaign manager, Bjorn Berg." He'd noticed how Nolan had missed greeting him. Erik preferred to talk to Roxanne anyway.
"I'm doing...fine," he replied to the person he'd originally been talking to. He almost laughed at her comment about Ivy but stuck to just a crooked smirk. "Did you haff a happy new year's?" That was a light, safe conversation topic. Would Berg approve? Erik was going to roll his eyes if not.
Well yes, Reynolds, Bjorn DID notice your lack of greeting. But it wouldn't do to seem put off, no it would not. Instead, he graciously extended his hand towards the
dunk tank loser man.
"Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Reynolds." Pleasure to start finding your weaknesses.
