Lex looked over at Kat.

She really wanted to get soaked again but when she thought about it...she already got a chance so it made more sense to let Kat go ahead and take her turn. Yup. She would be all sacrificial for her pseudo!sister because that's the kinds of things that happened.

She waited until Kat was inside and ready then got her wand nicely aimed at an angle that wouldn't make the water go knocking her umbrella away or hitting her unnecessarily...you know, just in case she didn't want to get wet. Heh. Not like that matter. "Aguamenti!" Something she'd learnt through watching in last term's Potions class. Immediately a jet a water shot towards Kat. Lex watched to see just how the umbrella was holding up. "How is it????" Because there were no re-dos; the class was over.

Kat could hear the patter on her umbrella when Lex cast Aguamenti on her umbrella. It was quite successful at first but when she looked up, she saw that it was kind of soaking up. MERLIN had she made a cotton umbrella?! That was... ew. "Yikes. Lex, you can stop now," she said and then jumped off the cubicle and shook her umbrella dry. Hmph. Cotton. Lame.

Now it was Lex's turn. "You ready?" she asked. Yeah she was, no time to lose because they were going to be LEAVING in a while already. Kat was checking her watch occasionally. "Aguamenti." And a jet of water on Lex and her umbrella. Okay maybe that was enough water... "You okay, sister?" she asked because she cared. Enough said, yes?

And then it WAS time now. Boo! Kat kind of pouted and all before looking at Lex. "Hey, thanks for being a good partner," she smiled at her and shoved a chocolate frog on the Gryffindor's palm. "You've been awarded accordingly for your efforts." BEAM. Now this was ~~pseudo~~ sisterhood.

The Slytherin went to dry herself up with the spell that Hufflepuff was using on almost everyone, then she packed her things. "Thanks for the cool lesson, Professor Magnus," Kat nodded and smiled at the woman before leaving. Well... she won't be testing her cocktail umbrella at all. Not even thinking about it. SNORT.
