Elric's job stops here but hopefully he helped more than he should have to Lourdes. He looked at her and gave her a smile "Goodluck, you'll do great" Elric encouraged her, she needed the encouragement. "Remember..." he added before Lourdes would leave "...beauty and brains always win"

She was doing well, Elric said. That was pleasing and Lourdes did hang onto the hope that she was going to be doing well during the debate and the Q-and-A. Cross your fingers! Also he managed a laugh, too, and the woman translated this as a good sign of her progress. She was going to do well, and she believed so. She wouldn't let her more-experienced and fellow candidates take her down. It was only just a milestone in her experience. "Thank you, but I do hope that it maintains like this until the elections," she nodded. It was such a much-awaited event and who wouldn't be looking forward to it?
