Alyssa breathed a sigh of relief when Professor Magnus confirmed that her assumption i.e that they would be transfiguring the shoe lace into umbrellas. She watched as the Professor demonstrated how it was supposed to be done and wah-lah she had a rainbow colored umbrella in her hand. Now it was time to test it.

She was confident that Professor Magnus' transfigured umbrella wouid pass the tesr. she just hoped that Oakey's luck was holding up and that he would be able to control the amount of water flowing out of the wand and not end up flooding the entite classroom.

While Alyssa waited for the experiment to start, she quickly wrote down the wand movements and the incantation into her journal.

Hold wand directly over the straightened shoelace. 2. Draw a line in the air, finish it by going down and then up diagonally as if tracing out a small triangle over the shoelace. 3.
