She settled back in her seat and listened to the other suggestions until the time the Professor was ready to address them all. Her eyes grew wider and wider with each statement until finally THAT question was asked.
Hopefully it didn't come as a surprize to anyone to see the 12 year old suddenly hop out of her seat, hand waving like a mad persons.
No fear? That was totally HER. or well it was a work in progress but she wasn't afraid of water soooo... She eyed Oakey. No. He was older which meant he was probably here for the trip to visit the Giant Squid. Wasn't that enough for him? Now he wanted to rob her of this???

Alexa seemed a bit sad she'd missed out on the lesson by the lake, and was incredibly eager to help with this. But Oakey had volunteered first. Both. Both was good.
"Okay, you two," Isabelle gestured to both of them, letting them know they could come up to stand by her side.
"Seeing as you're so eager, Miss Cambridge, you can be the one to stand inside. Mister Gunter, you can do what I would have done and provide the water for the testing. That okay?" It would kind of have to be, because she said so.

Isabelle removed the bucket from the table and placed it on the floor, keeping one of the laces in her hand and stretching it out on the now empty table.

His enthusiasm never failed to amuse her.
"You'll all get a turn eventually, Daichi. I'll want you to pair up later to help with the testing." She winked at him, but suddenly looked up when she saw the door open.

Slipping into the room, he took up a MANLY standing/leaning position against the back wall, a red clipboard in his hand. Lesson evaluation... fun stuff. To be polite, and as unobtrusive as he could possibly be in such a situation, he gave Professor Magnus a polite nod, with his ever charming toothy grin. He was HERE. So ... she could WOW him now.
He observed keenly, as students ENGAGED with the lesson topic... something about showers and wetness... but ok.

She gave him a nod of acknowledgement, straightening herself up and moving around the back of the table.
With the two kids now by her side, she shifted them around slightly so they could see as well as the others. They'd need to do the spell as well after all.
"Okay, now as Alyssa guessed, we'll be making umbrellas today. Plastic framed ones to be exact as they're easier to produce. The spell will elongate the shoelace, one end will curve to form a handle and the other will separate into spokes and a covering. With any luck." She chuckled. With any luck. Yes. And then Alexa wouldn't get wet. No, she'd done this spell loads of times, it was more the kids doing it for the first time that might need to be concerned. They had worn clothes they didn't mind getting wet, right?
Holding her wand directly over the straightened out shoelace, she drew a line in the air, finishing it by going down and then up diagonally, as if tracing a small triangle at the end.
"Protegamur Aqua!" The words came out at the same time as she did the wand movement. And just as she'd said the shoelace started to change slowly.
After a few seconds though, a fully formed and brightly coloured rainbow umbrella was laying across the table. But it was closed. And now she had to open it to make sure there were no holes. A quick push upwards of the prongs and it opened to show a large umbrella, big enough to cover her and perhaps one other person.
Isabelle twirled it around before handing it over to Alexa with a smile.
"Now, Miss Cambridge, if you wouldn't mind stepping inside the cubicle with this. Oakey, if you could just produce a shower of water over the top of the curtain with your wand, we'll see how well it holds up." OOC: Please don't RP each others reactions, just your own characters.
