The woman fell silent as her father suddenly stood. Her eyebrows raised, almost in fear... Dad was asking to speak with Nigel alone? She subconsciously leaned a little closer to her boyfriend, squeezing his hand back. After a few seconds of looking at her father, though, she figured it might be better if he took Nigel alone than keeping him here. With her mother.
