GIGGLE. They could have had a friend date! How simply marvellous!
The twenty-one year old pushed open the door to the Three Broomsticks with one hand, the other hand holding onto a small cake that she hadn't prepared herself. But she had put some candles in it and she was planning on surprising her, now, seventeen-year-old unbiological sister with a cake! One that was chocolate AND purple AND-
"NESSIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
SQUEEEEEEE! Look at that gorgeous red velvet sister of hers! SQUEE SQUEE SQUEEEEEEE! The former Quidditch Captain ran over to the current Quidditch Captain -- GIGGLE -- and set the cake down in front of her. She then turned to the girl and embraced her in a big hug, squeezing her ever so gently. "Happy birthday, my dear!" she said as she let go and, with a flick of her wand, removed the outer packaging of the small cake to reveal a purple chocolatey cake with the words 'Happy birthday' written on it.
Could you tell that she was very excited?
------------------------------------
He had a date. A date! An actual proper date.
But that wasn't why he was here.
Clutching a small box in his hands, Alec headed down towards the Three Broomsticks, hoping that that was where his Captain would be sitting. There was no need to hurry, right? Because... he wasn't... late, right? He hoped not! Today was Captain LochNessie's birthday! Today! On a Hogsmeade visit day! HOW AWESOME WAS THAT?
Answer: VERY awesome!
With a huge GRIN spread across his face, Alec pushed open the door to the Three Broomsticks and looked around. Ginger hair... ginger hair... he was looking for someone with a ginger hair... OH! THERE! He let the door shut behind him as he walked over towards his Captain, his fingers touching a small box in his pocket. She didn't like presents, and he understood that but... he had to give her something, right? And he didn't have to phrase it as being a present. It could just be... a little... box with something inside that he was giving to her.
"Hey Captain LochNessie!" he said, wrapping his arms around the girl and giving her a hug, "Happy birthday!" ... Should he? Or shouldn't he? And... did she want cheek pinches? GRIN. O___________O
Squee-ing or more like LOTS of it! The red head blinked, blocked her ears for a short moment, quickly checked on Puffles outside and then beamed brightly as she saw an older brunette standing inside in front of her.
KITA! KITA! KITA! KITA! IT WAS HER!!!!
Next thing, Nessie was out her seat and literally running towards the girl, only pausing at a halt when she realized there was a box in her 'sisters' hand. Now she didn't exactly want to collide with the brunette and destroy whatever was in that box, but Ness did kind of hope it wasn't a present.
"I missed you SO much!" Anyone would miss Kita her presence just made you want to smile and be happy all the time, not many people were like that.
SQUIIIISHH!!
Carefully, because of the cake, Ness wrapped her arms around Kita tightly and then as she pulled back she watched as the former Captain opened the box to reveal a purple cake. Puuuuurrrrple and preeeetty
and not necessary. "Kita, you know you didn't need to get me anything right?" she said ALREADY feeling bad about gifts.
----------
Behind Kita the door swung open once more. This time revealing a very cute-cheeked faced boy
man. Even from where she was standing the red head could see those pinch-able cheeks and gosh she just wanted to squish them to bits...well not literally but yeah.
Instead though she remained calm and told herself not to go all crazy because cheeks were cheeks and the fourth year would let her pinch them soon anyways. There was something more important to do first which was of course greet the kiddo
and question him about his date which she knew of..
"Thank you, Kiddo!" He got a big smile and a tight hug. Squuuiiiish! Then she pulled back and looked at him.
"I hear you and *cough*Ella *cough* have a bit of a date today?" The plain smile from before turned into a little smirk. Oh how she loved young love. Was so cute and so innocent.
Aand now that, that question was asked Nessie extended her arms and pinched those adorable little cheeks of his. SO CUTIE!

"Evelyn!" Kurumi chirped as she began to extend her arms to maaaaaaaaaybe hug the girl (woman?!) when she was instead greeted by the Slytherin quickly slipping into her seat. Some things never changed? "It's good to see you again. How have you been?" Did she want any pumpkin juice too?
As more people began to enter the Three Broomsticks, Kurumi found her attention being drawn towards the door each time it opened - which ened up being a very good thing. "Nessie!" she calle from her seat while giving a big wave.
She would ave stood up...but it was looking like a Hufflepuff reunion of sorts at the moment and Kurumi didn't want to interrupt.
That voice. It was SO SO familiar. The now seventeen year old turned around to see another amazing person today. KURUMI!!!!!!! It had been how long without her at Hogwarts? Okay maybe only really a few months but it already felt longer. It was SO SO good to see the former Prefect.
With a smile on her face, Ness left the group for just a few moments. She wanted to at least say hi, because Kurumi did seem busy with Evelyn whom Nessie remembered quite clearly due to a certain incident.
"Kurumi! We've missed you so much!" We because Ness was almost one hundred percent sure she wasn't the only one. As for Evelyn she just got a nod, which was mainly because the red head was a little scared of the former head girl.

Uh.Adam was not planning on standing out here like an idiot all day. Okay, so he wouldn't look like much a loner he checked the place out and saw that it said the Three Broomsticks.
Nodding to himself Adam walked in and placed his back to the wall of the restuarant. Ok. Maybe, just maybe some very young student he knew from when he was at Hogwarts might recognize him and tell him something. An if they didn't well...mean on their end.
Today was the day Nessie said to come, right? Hopefully. He realized he was beginning to stick out a little bit with the casual suit he was wearing. And his hair was WAY too clean cut for it to be considered ADAM hair. After having greeted Kurumi and moved back with Kita and all, Ness spotted her Madam. Puffles seemed to have done the same because he was bouncing up and down as he followed Adam's footsteps inside.
So he figured where his grasshopper was, then? Good. Good. That meant she didn't need to worry about him not finding her. She waved her hands frantically in the air.
"Madame Adam!" he'd probably hate on her for saying it so loud, but heh it was her birthday and she could do what she wanted to. "Over here!" She waved her arms around a little more.
Wait..was he holding? No...no.
Hoping it was just her eyesight Nessie facepalmed herself. She had told him no presents she had told everyone no presents. Why couldn't they just not buy presents? It would be benefiting them too. That way they wouldn't have to waste money. With a pout on her face now, the red head just looked at Adam wishing that whatever was tucked under his arm was not a
n expensive present.
