"Thank you," she nodded, knowing this was the lab of... this... quiet fellow.
The woman jumped when he whipped out his wand, but understood the clear look on his face that said he was not having fun. She felt sorry for him. She knew the feeling. But, again, there was work to be done. She eyed the leaf, which had begun to bubble, but since they had switched projects... She made no comment. Aron-Ashbury-blah blah blah was the expert.
She turned her focus on the wands. Even though it didn't fit her own theory, which she decided was the time to voice. "I really don't think the wand wood has a specific significance... I mean... they'll chomp on anything made of wood... However, the loss of magical ability is strange. But I can't help but want to think it's merely being sick..." she was talking mostly to herself-- Brainstorming. They had to figure this out, so it was time to put all the cards on the table...
