Today wasn't exactly the day. It wasn't the elections yet. As early as now, there had been transitions to it already. The woman was here, in this room backstage, to actually meet up with the person she'd be working hand in hand with through her candidate experience. It was something to look forward to, but you can never stop it once you feel slightly nervous. Lourdes, in fact, wasn't that nervous with it all. All you're going to have to do is answer a few (or not) questions asked by the people. But hold up, it wasn't the debate yet. For now, she was going to meet for the first time her manager.

She wasn't the only one in the room. She actually was with two other candidates, one being her fellow department head who she unfortunately doesn't know too well. The other one was a Ministry employee, but not from her level. Good, at least people were around. It would be strange to be alone, waiting for something. And waiting was exactly what she did. Lourdes examined the backstage room while waiting for her... manager. Probably won't be too long.
