But Lottie had sent it away. GOOD. The thing was gone. She could relax now.

The visible tension on her face slowly faded away. "I don't ever want to. Ever." It was a relief that the Hufflepuff didn't take Mags everywhere, wasn't it? "Yeah. Food sounds nice." It sounded safe, too, much less dangerous than little balls of fur similar to the one that just left her sight. "We can go get some candy in the Great Hall?" Did Lottie like candy? Pfft. What a silly question to ask. Who didn't like candy?

And so Alice held out her arm for the Hufflepuff to take. 'Cause, y'know, she and Melanie always linked arms and skipped when they went to get food. So she and Lottie could do the same, yeah? Because they were friends.
