She set the nice jar she'd chosen back on the table--but not in the same place as all the other commoner jars that were reserved for every other star that would be made. Nope. Hers was put just a ways off then she pointed her wand at it. "Scourgify." Yeah she could have used that other cleaning spell but she didn't know it so stop bothering her about it! Merlin!

Now where was she? Oh yeah, adding the hydrogen and helium thingies. She stuck her hand into her pocket and began rummaging around for the little metallic containers. In the middle of her rummaging she heard footsteps, followed by more footsteps and the voice of the Professor. "Hello Professor Airey." Because he said they could call him that. Greeting aside she focused her attention on searching again until she grabbed hold of them and fished them out. Looking over the surface of the table she saw some conveniently placed spoons. Good because she didn't feel like making another trip to the closest. Nope. That was too much work and she wanted to start on the star NOOOW.

Snatching a spoon, she pried open both containers then added a spoonful of each. It wouldn't really matter which was which because their measurements were the same!

Once that was done she put the lid back on and took a step back. Spell time again. This one she wasn't as comfortable with but she did try it a couple times while she was done in the great hall, just to make sure she got a feel for it. No need to have anything blowing up; not when she wanted the star so badly anyway.

Lex cast a quick Fingere Elementi at the jar--it worked!!! Dear sweet Merlin, somebody call her father! She got it right and the jar didn't go boom! Sure it worked when she was down in the great hall but down there she didn't have anything to try it on. For all she knew it probably wasn't working 'til just now!! What was even better, the powder was changing! JBCLJDFVUV!!!
