Alice still felt a bit disheartened by her tardiness, it was bad enough that she had to suffer the embarrassment but now she felt as if she had let down her own house.

She had to make up for it! Yeah; now she was determined to get back those 10 points, even if meant staying up late to make sure every bit of homework was flawlessly done, she would do it.
