Alyssa silently entered the Astrophysics lab. This was the first time she had been in here. Before doing anything else, she immediately removed a white lab coat and protective goggles from a closet that she had seen on the of her right when she had entered the lab. She put on her lab coat and placed her goggles over eyes before looking around. Alyssa noticed some wooden tables and figured that would be the place that she would be doing her term assignment. Walking over to one of the wooden tables, she placed her back pack on it, and then pulled out to the star shaped boxes and the pickle jar.

"Okay I guess I'm supposed to put these in the jar and change them into their gaseous state." Alyssa whispered to herself. But first things first. Since she wasn't allowed to take the jar with her, and she didn't want others to mistake hers for theirs, she picked up her pen and wrote her name on a label

and then stuck it on her jar. She then pulled out her journal with the instructions, Professor Flamsteed had given them.



'Okay time to clean you.' Alyssa whispered to the pickle jar. She removed the lid and unholstering her wand, she pointed it inside the jar and said,"Scourgify". She then inspected the jar to make sure that it was thoroughly and spotlessly clean. Now she was ready to place the powdered helium and hydrogen into the jar. Picking up a spoon, she pointed her wand at it and cleaned it by saying, "Scourgify". Then she gently opened up the yellow star shaped box and scooped up one tablespoonful worth of hydrogen and moving her spoon ever so slowly to the pickle jar, she poured the contents of the spoon into it. Alyssa then covered the yellow star shaped box, before opening the blue box and dipping her spoon inside, she scooped up one table spoon of powdered helium and slowly poured it into the pickle jar.

Covering the box back, Alyssa then placed the lid back onto the jar and tightened it until it was securely fastened. Now all she had to do was to convert the two powdered elements into gaseous state. Picking up her wand, she jabbed it at the contents inside the jar and at the same time, said, "FINGERE ELEMENTI". POOF!! Immediately the powder elements changed into a yellow gaseous form.

Alyssa quickly checked her journal to make sure that, that was the proper color. 'Blue when it is too hot and red when it is too cold. Okay it looks like we have neither color, so does that mean that my star is doing okay right now?' Alyssa thought to herself. She looked around hoping that the Professor was around to tell her.

'Might as well name you while I wait for the Professor to confirm that I'm doing this right. Okay you're going to be called Yvaine just like the name of the star that turned into a human in that movie, Stardust.' Alyssa thought to herself smiling to herself.
