Last year's Muggle Studies classes had been a lot of fun, so Eliza felt comfortable in her assumption that this year would be the same. Their professor was nice and enthusiastic, which really helped making a class that some students would deem boring into a much more lively experience. Eliza didn't personally think muggle studies were boring or useless really, because she thought a lot of muggle inventions were quite useful and interesting. Plus, her muggle neighbors had been nothing but kind to her over the years and provided her with an up close view of day to day muggle living that she could draw a lot from for the class.
She gave her professor a polite, "Hello Professor Cerulean," and let her eyes drift towards the decorations in the room. And what is that on our desks? She looked at the dish a bit closer and realized, it was muggle jell-o. She turned back to the professor and said, "Thank you very much for the kool-aid and jell-o! They make me think of summer," she said with a smile and sat down to enjoy some of their festive dessert. |
