Thanks to Mo's boost, Alice was launched up at that little patch of slowmovers. YES. Yes, those. Right there. The blue ones that were floating around in a little circle, yes, one of those was hers. As she went careening into the wall, she managed to turn a little and push herself off of it with her arms, sending herself drifting towards the meteors. Now what? How exactly was she supposed to catch another one of these in one glove?!

Without bruising her hands, of course. Because she needed those, on acount of she was a Beater. Did Flamsteed really expect her to use a bat if her hand was all purple? No. No, thank you. Alice was just resourceful enough to think up a way to catch it in the same one.

After flaling around the circle of meteors for a little while, the only thing the fourth year had accomplished was successfully breaking them up and sending one of the stars shooting off into someplace else. Obviously, she needed a new approach. Choosing one of the last two blues, she herded it into the wall, using her body to block it's means of escape. It hit her a couple of times-- and it HURT-- but it was nothing that gear couldn't handle, yeah? A few bruises weren't too bad.

The meteor had lost. HA. It was cornered now, and it was hers. Alice, hanging on to a protruding bit of the wall to keep herself from drifting away, carefully pressed her arm, the one laden with gear, against it. She managed to hold it there, even if she could tell it was bruising her a little. PSHHT. Bruises. She was tougher than that. Even more slowly than before, she slipped her gloved hand between the star and her arm. Now.. just to get it to fit with the yellow one..

YES! SUCCESS! Now.. had Cactus caught his, too?

She didn't know.. but SHE had.
