Having spotted a likely blue, West went with a scooping moment this time, but he only knocked the blue meteor awaaaay because the yellow was still safely in his glove.

HOW was he supposed to do this then?

Theo's foot. It was right there and would be useful. West grabbed his friend's foot with his non-gloved hand and puuuuuulled, using Theo to push off of so that he, West, would go careening towards his next target. HE WAS DETERMINED. He chaaaaaaased after a blue, almost as if HE was the tail of the thing, arm outstretched but glove closed to safely hold the yellow one, and then he and the meteor reached the wall and with a flurry, West opened the glove and smooshed a glove-y handful of both the yellow and blue against the wall even while he grabbed at a protruding bit of wall with his non-gloved hand to stop himself from floating off.

West closed his eyes hard for a moment, barely willing to let out a breath. Did it.... did it work? He opened them. YESSS TWO! TWO METEORS! HE HAD TWO but they were against the wall and his glove so... he juuuuuuust had to caaaaaaaarefully close his grip around it...... SUCCESS!

West let go of the wall and floated off again, carefully cradling the glove against his protected chest, keeping the meteors SAFE.

.... it was really a very GOOD glove after all.
