Well, small glare because Aron was no idiot and knew who this woman was. Or, well, more importantly to HIM was who the woman was married to. Sure there was Mr. Head Cabbage Wes, but the Minister was Mr. Head Cabbage's Head Cabbage and therefore Mr. Senior Head Cabbage to him. So, yes, no insulting the woman.
At least not directly or out loud.
