Alexander had been tuning out Hecate's discussion with Cece. It was girl talk, really, and he had no place in it unless someone annoyed him as they'd done earlier. He only tuned in when her heard his name, or nickname, really. "For what?" he asked, a bit bewildered. She wanted a ride on a Hippogriff? "Are you planning on using it for ingredients afterwards or something?" Quote:

Ian tried his hardest to not stick his tongue out to Mr. party-pooper with paddle 23.
"Alright next up for bid is Hecate Laf-"
Ian did not finish the name, he ended up ducking from the hex Lafay had cast his way and let it hit the wall behind him.
"It was a JOKE! We're trying to REBUILD the library Lafay, not demolish it!"
He turned around and fixed the spot in the wall.
"Merlin," he said moving his hands down his suit to straighten it. "Some people can't take a joke... ANYWAY. Next Staffer up for bid is the Deputy Headmaster himself, and professor of History of Magic, Everett, or "Dash," Scabior." Alexander nearly shot out of his chair. His WIFE was up for grabs?! Not that he was insecure, but he was a very, very jealous man. In the next second, Hecate had cast on Amoroso, and Alexander realized it'd all been a joke after all. He chuckled to himself and rested in his chair once again. "Nice aim," he said to his wife. Quote:

Once again, Alexander nearly came up out of his chair. Nevermind that she'd kissed him ahead of time. He sat back, scowl in place, annoyed now that Scabior was getting all the attention.
He should have put himself up for grabs... Quote:

"One Hundred!" Hecate said raising her paddle.
She had to know now. A hunded galleons?! For Scabior?
...and Hecate was using the paddle he'd registered to do this. He could just see the winning announcement day. 'Day with Scabior' - Won by Minister Alexander Greingoth.
SHAMEFUL.
Schirmer was going to outbid her, right?! "Dad?" Sierra finally asked. "Why's Mom bidding on my History of Magic professor?"
Parents could be SO EMBARRASSING!
