Why in the name of Odin did that girl want a man's suit so badly? It was bizarre, simply bizarre. He wasn't sure he wanted her to have it.
"Ninety." Erik raised his paddle again.

Well, Ivy most certainly did not expect that question. She kept herself composed even though she found his quick conclusion quite humorous. She moved her eyes away from his again. "If I wanted to ask you out, Mr. Vinteren, I would. Don't doubt that." She wasn't some silly girl who beat around the bush with those types of things. "However, and unfortunately for you, I was merely curious about what you do for a living." She held her paddle in her lap and watched the next auction start. Oh look, another suit for Erik to add to his collection.
"Unfortunately for me?" Erik turned slightly in his seat to give Ivy his undivided attention. He was amused, and his smirk clearly said so.
"So vould you say no if I asked you out?"
Maybe if she said yes, he would tell her what he did. Over drinks. But not here. Not now.
