So why not risk getting lost to explore a maze that didn't happen everyday at Hogwarts? It would be fun, Kat thought. She liked to take chances, yes.
Good, Kendall was fine with it. And uhm... following her cat? The blonde wasn't sure if her cat would lead them to the end of the maze with food and all. Omnomnom. But Kat was really fine, following Kendall's cat. If they get lost... well, she won't blame the cat for not knowing. Getting lost was part of the fun anyway, which would be a cool new addition to her 'book of experiences'. Like she had one, anyway. Chocolate, however, Kat could not reject. "Sure," Kat said and waited for Kendall to get a bar or something. Or cut a part from hers, but she liked a whole one better. Duh. "So, do you think the Point Me spell could lead us to the end?" she asked, wanting to know what the Ravenclaw thought. She was a Ravenclaw for a reason, anyway. The longer she stayed in one spot, the more Kendall started feeling the memories from the Arithmancy maze. She wasn’t about to let Katrina know she was nervous, though. She wasn’t even sure if she would let Patrick know she was nervous, if he’d been around, but then, he knew the story about the acromantula and everything else. Maybe he would have known even if she hadn’t let it be visible. The chocolate she had was definitely helping, however, as well as continuing to talk. That and knowing that Accio was still in the maze with her too, along with the fact it was still basically light out. Therefore she could see anything that came at them, and she still doubted that there were any surprises in this maze. It seemed like it was just for fun, especially knowing there was supposed to be food at the end. Odds were it wasn’t more chocolate, since even she knew that most people didn’t necessarily think chocolate when they thought of fall and corn mazes and whatever, but she figured it would still be good. Plus, she had enough chocolate in her bag to last for a while.
Something told her the Slytherin was a little confused by the idea of following Accio through the maze, but that didn’t bother her either. She trusted her cat, therefore there wasn’t going to be any problems as long as there weren’t any small animals around to distract him. So far it seemed like the feline was only focused on her, so she turned her attention back to her new companion as she had at least responded to the offer. “Okay,” she replied, opening her bag again and pulling a wrapped bar out before handing it over. “I’m not really sure what kind that one is, but I know it’s good.” She hadn’t exactly asked Patrick what everything was when he’d given her the last batch and she hadn’t had the chance to go to Hogsmeade to stock up on other chocolate yet. She went back to her own chocolate bar as another question had been asked, as well, back to walking along the pathway. “It might,” she responded, eyes watching the orange tabby walking ahead of them to keep aware of corners and stuff like that. “So far we haven’t gotten lost, though,” she added with a grin, glancing over at Katrina again. The spell was more useful if they got lost, she thought. Right now things seemed fine.
