Was it finally time to fly? Was it? Yes? Yes?

YES!

Penelope mostly-though-sorta-only-half-listened to the instructions. It was easy to see the poles that were there on one side of the pitch, and it seemed pretty clear what they were for. And then there was the other side of the pitch where they could just fly and do whatever they wanted? That sounded pretty cool, but Penelope also liked the challenge of those poles. Which activity should she choose first? Because she was definitely going to try to do both before the end of class.

Finally, after the professor had finished her instructions and Penelope had kicked off into the air again, the third year decided she was gonna try the poles first and go through them a few times before going to the other side. It seemed like a good plan.

So she got in line, and once it was her turn, she urged her broom forward to zoooom through the staggered line of poles, zig-zagging this way and then that way, this way and that way, avoiding the poles by varying inches and centimeters until she reached the end where she slowed down.

Now THAT was fun.

Time for round two!
