Airey had never been good with those puzzle books as a child. The ones that had word searches and mazes and those sorts of things that muggle children tended to use to entertain themselves on especially long moving vehicle excursions. He always got distracted or bored midway and put it aside to go and do something more riveting - like building a model mecha. So he really wasn't sure why he was out here on the grounds with the expectation of making it through the maze.

Might have had something to do with him not wanting students and staff alike to think he was antisocial since he kept to his office for a good portion during the day...but it was SCARY sometimes leaving it and seeing that MESS of an environment that the Divination professor called a seating area. It made his skin crawl... *twitch*

Stretching his arms and doing a few squats in place - his lower back cracking a few times and causing him to wince at the slight discomfort - Airey paused at the entrance and adjusted his tie. "Maize Maze...challenge accepted!"
