How come THAT kid didn't lose points? West shot a knowing look at his sister, which pretty much meant something about arbitrary punishments, and then turned his attention back to Bliss's footprint.

"I doubt it," Bliss told him. He seemed to be good in all subjects. He always gave long and detailed answers and they were always right. So there was no way he could be rubbish at this. "Hmmm, yeah. It would be. Maybe...maybe you would look at it differently if it were like that?" Just a suggestion. Maybe there were different ways of reading the footprint of someone that was running and just walking. Divination was definitely a very precise subject.
The fourteen-year-old looked back at her previous notes on what each thing meant and compared them to West's foot features.
Okay. He had long toes, which meant that he was a thoughtful and logical person. That seemed right. Arch...that was...it was a high arch, so she could only see part of the imprint. Did that mean it was short? In which case, that meant that West is aloof and unaware of what goes on around him. HUH. Maybe? No? Lastly the heel, that was deep, so that meant that his health is in tune and well-rounded.
Right then.
Bliss scribbled she notes and passed them to West. "Here you go, they look...sort of right....maybe." She shrugged at him. They seemed random if you asked her. But at least she'd done the task. Now she'd just have to wait for her results. "Yeah but if its stuff about your personality, that is stuff what wouldn't change from one step to the next. Wouldn't it be easier to just look at someone's foot to figure all this stuff out?" He took the notes and looked at them.
... was he aloof?
Also, was that Ravenclaw over there missing a toe?
Additionally, was the professor going to cry?
So naturally West stuck his hand up.
"Professor, I have questions."
