He looked at Addy as she nibbled on her apple slices and remembered that he had a few giant chocolate chip cookies (wrapped up in a napkin, of course) in his pocket.

He pulled them out and began unwrapping the napkin. "Oh, and I need some help writing a letter to mum. She's going to be upset when she finds out that I'm in Ravenclaw," he said as he broke off a piece of cookie and popped it into his mouth.
Addy beamed at Rawdon and nodded slightly. She thought it was indeed an excellent theory. MHM. "Well it's been said that ALL magic leaves a mark, right? We should perhaps research this. Yep. We'll start tomorrow." No questions. The dynamic duo would figure this out. YEP.

Oh. His mum was gonna be upset. Right. She remembered that. Frowning slightly she nodded once more. "I'll help you. Whatever you need. I am sure you need a lady's touch to the letter. Soften the blow a bit. And we can write to your uncles and tell them. That way you know you will have SOME positive feedback on the subject." CUE A TOOTHY GRIN.

She’d much rather not have to worry about Bludgers flying at her head, even if she could use her ninja skills to try to avoid them. She merely shrugged in response to his words, though, along with Addy saying she’d just been wondering about Sierra being made prefect, shifting her position on the couch to get more comfortable. She didn’t particularly feel like debating Slytherin favoritism, although she was tempted to ask Patrick or any of the other Slytherins she knew if they had a theory next time she saw them.

The hair color thing was more interesting, and she grinned a little at Addy’s comment. “I don’t think anyone thinks gray is an intimidating color. I mean, usually all it says about anyone is that they’re old,” she commented, pulling her fingers through the waves in her own hair as she freed it from the last of the braids, then pulling one of her pink streaks in front of an eye. Not everyone needed a potion to change their hair color. “It does look creepy, though,” she added, in response to Rawdon’s statement. “And it probably does have to do with Dark Magic. She’s terrifying enough to be involved in it, and obviously she isn’t two seconds away from turning into a zombie or whatever anymore. She probably did something Dark to cure herself from whatever was wrong with her last term, and it gave her that streak.” She was free to continue those theories, after all. Nobody was asking her to help write letters.

Addy quirked a brow at the girl across from herself and pursed her lips. "No the color itself is indeed not intimidating, but if one looks back into Muggle films and the like the creepy ladies... like Cruella and the one from the movie about the Mermaid... they had the grey streak in the black hair. They were quite imposing and definitely intimidating. It is not the color, but merely the demeanor in which the person who has the terribly ugly streak carries themselves." Logic, she had it. EVEN IF it was in reference to Disney films, yo.
