Clearly her step mother is showing preferential treatment and all. But anywho. Yeah. That was Minister Greingoth and Sierra..." With a serious nod she pulled her feet into her chair.
"I never got the chance to tell you while inside the store... or on the train... or at the feast. Sorry about that." Hehehe. "Now why do you dislike Professor Lafay so much?" Not that she disputed it, but she was curious nonetheless. HEHE. "Dent Head is a prefect AND the daughter of the Minister?" he blurted out. Then he heard the words 'Step Mother' and 'Married to the Minister' and groaned. "I'm gonna die. She like gave me the evil eye in Diagon Alley but I don't think she knows who I am. You witnessed the entire thing!" Quote:

Of course, it usually wasn’t difficult to get her interested, especially when she’d heard he was into pranks and stuff. Aside from the intrigue of his deciding he was doomed when it came to Professor Lafay, that was another interesting fact. Besides, it wasn’t like she could go looking for Patrick when they were all being herded toward their own common rooms. She wasn’t about to try to sneak into the Slytherin common room right now, not when there were people in her own house who were interesting and had stories. She’d have more things to tell him next time she found him, and she’d have to go looking for him on his birthday anyway. She could start off getting to know the new Claws first, or at least Rawdon, Mo and Aquila. Probably others, and thinking about her conversation with Mo reminded her that Accio was probably somewhere in the common room.
In any case, she wasn’t the first in the room, and she bit back a giggle at Rawdon’s rant before Addy had spoken. “I still don’t see why that makes you any less doomed than the rest of us,” she commented, once she’d successfully turned the giggle into just a grin and dropped onto one of the couches as the older redhead had gone into an explanation about Lafay being married to the Minister, and favoritism with Sierra being prefect. “At least she’s not Head Girl,” she piped up, helpfully. That might have been even scarier, not to mention would have really showed favoritism. Although what she remembered about Selina didn’t bode well for Rawdon’s anti-Bludger argument, since she was rather attached to her beater’s bat. Actually, rather like Alice seemed to be now too, so maybe that was a Lion thing. But back to the topic of Lafay and her ability at being terrifying. “Maybe she thinks it makes her scarier,” she offered. She didn’t think it was anything like her pink streaks, at least, and she reached up to unbraid her hair while she continued thinking aloud. “Or maybe she just wants us to be curious so she can punish the first person who asks her about it.” Now that would really be reason to say someone was doomed. "True. If Dent Head were Head Girl, she'd be whacking her Bludger at us so that anyone who annoys her would spend the entire term in the Hospital Wing." "But Professor LaStreak needs to do something about her hair. It looks . . . ghoulish. Maybe she'll teach us a hair color potion in the first lesson with the intention of using it on herself," Rawdon joked.
