It was taking her forever to find the cat.
As she kept looking around, hoping that she would finally spot the black cat, Gwendolyn heard someone call her name. The sixth year turned around, only to see Jory standing a few feet away.
‘Hi’, she said with a grin on her face and hugged her friend.
‘It’s good to see you’, she added before drawing her attention back to the floor, in order to look for the cat.
‘Umm... I can’t find Jinx’, she told the Hufflepuff, but decided it was best not to bore him with the whole thing she had told Kurumi last year. She didn’t really lose Jinx, the cat wanted to go for a walk. Ehm.
‘You haven’t seen him, have you?’, she asked, still looking around, without noticing that Jinx made his way to the place where Jory was standing, and started playing with his shoelaces.
