The woman was a constant source of annoyance and she needed something that would really do the trick. "Who came up with that idea anyway? It's pretty neat!" It WAS. Wow, a demon, she could already see all the danger and havoc associated with it and more importantly she could see a very miserable step-mother. Oh but wasn't he whispering...? Quite suddenly she quieted down. "Sorry about that..." She whispered.
In the silence that followed she tried thinking of a reason for giving Amanda her 'present'. It wasn't the woman's birthday and Christmas was still a good way off. She looked to the man again when he started talking. "It is?! Then it's perfect!!! See I don't like the woman very much so I'll have fun with this!" Her eyes grew wider with excitement. Eeeep! It could do all that?!?!? She'd definitely give it to her to take to work with her!! Hehehehehe! "Awesome!! Does it hurt people too???" Such enthusiasm this girl had! Wesley liked it. "Yes, the Fantabulous Demon Wonderbox..." Wesley tapped a few fingers on his chin until he rembered. "Two galleons and three knuts, m'dear. Not a cheap price for a little destruction." Probably for a good reason, too. "Who came up with the idea? Well, the original Weasleys, of course! Fred and George! Legends, they are." Practically IDOLS to Wesley. They were brilliant masterminds.
One might consider a young teenager buying a demon in a box DANGEROUS and STUPID, but Wesley thought it was exciting that the youngins were so eager to get their pranking lives started. He was like a proud dad. Or something. "Oh, I'm sure this will do the trick." Of course, the woman was bound to dislike this girl even more once the demon was done, but oh well. That was sort of the point, wasn't it? Besides, FUN! Oh, does it hurt people? "Good question. Yes, but not permanent, severe damage. Just minor injuries." Again, nothing that can't be fixed. |
