They had been quarantined and it hadn't been her assignment to collect any samples from them, so she was clueless on that front.
Slightly startled as Emily seemed to doubt her words, Esme nodded slowly following the words of appreciation. "You're welcome. Just let me know when you need to check the evidence back in. I should be around, but if not, just send a message." Perhaps Emily had a point though. The woman had been around for a while, but how hardened of a 'criminal' she was...was still up for guesses.
"Good luck."
Her, as a zombie? walking around grabbing others? ... yeah, they'd be in strife if that happened. Her human appetite was something to be fearful of, let alone if she were a zombie... the amount of brains she'd crave, ... brains, that's what they lusted for? Was it not?
Ew.. ugh..
Emily was still mildly off-put by her thoughts when she heard Esme mention something about letting her know when she wanted to check the evidence back in... or something.
"Sure, not a problem." Common sense would prevail.
Checking the time quickly on her watch, she figured she's ought to move along and Esme's last words spurred her on.
"Thanks, we'll need it..." to an extent, or at least, she would.
"I'll see you soon," she promised, and with that she bowed her head and headed back toward the auror office... there was work to be done.
