Demetrius did not care that he was hit by the spell and ropes sprang around him. As long as he got to continue chewing on the wand and drooling. He was content. He did not even need a push. He continued to drool as he was lead to wherever they wanted him to go.
He was lucky the wand was in his mouth, when the spell hit him. He was enjoying this wand.
