When Chord turned and gave her an appraising look she nearly laughed. Nearly, and then he commented on her name and she just gritted her teeth momentarily.
"I guess it is." She just stood there and couldn't help but make a remark at his name, "Chord? So did your parents think you'd be a guitar or something or i don't know a musician at least." She had a sarcastic little smirk playing at her lips when she said it.
Still she took his hand and shook it.
"Nice to meet you Chord." After a pause she added, "i'm the er gossip columnist" she shrugged. "Oh...if you have any tips of smuldering love affairs and relationships breaking in Diagon Alley you know the girl to find." She added with an awkwardly placed wink. Oh yeah she was one of those spaz-winkers. Whenever she tried her nose would skrunch up and then she'd look all cross eyed.
So she just made herself look totally mungo's worthy.
