1. Where can I find my Member Number?

1. Click on UserCP at the top of the page. 
2. On the left side, click on Your Profile under Control Panel. 
3. When the page loads, if you will look in the URL of the page. The last digits of the URL are your Member Number. 
2. How do I subscribe to a thread?
Subscribing to a thread allows you to see anytime someone posts within that thread. Once you have subscribed to a thread, it will show up in your UserCP Subscriptions list whenever someone has posted something new within it.

1. Click on Thread Tools and choose Subscribe to Thread. 
2. On the next page, choose your options for Subscribing. You can choose if you want email notifications and where you want the subscription saved. Then click Add Subscription. 
3. The next page indicates that it is saving your Subscription. 
4. To see your Subscription, click on UserCP at the top of your page. This will list all of your Subscriptions and the ones at the top of the list are the newest postings.
3. What year is Term 34 in?
It is currently the year of 2080-2081 IC.
4. Do I have to do the homework and attend classes?
No, it is not mandatory. However, if you want to earn house points for Ravenclaw, completing homework and participating in the classes is one of the best ways to help us win the House Cup!
5. What does OOC and IC mean?
OOC means "Out of Character" and IC means "In Character."
6. How can I get involved in the school story? I feel so out of everything.
There are so many ways to get your charrie involved in the RPG! The best ways are having them join the Quidditch team, participate in the Gobstone games, take part in class lessons, and meet other students just around the castle! Also, if you're confused about what's going on in the school's plot line, take a look at the What in Merlin's Beard thread; it should help answer a lot of questions and give you a heads up about what's going on around Hogwarts and in the story line.
7. How can I help earn points for Ravenclaw?
House points are given to charries that attend classes, complete their homework, and/or do good deeds around the school. The best way to earn points for Ravenclaw is to attend classes and to complete the homework as instructed. You can check which classes are in session and what homework assignments are due on the The Diadem and The Eagle's Nest.
8. I'm new to the Role Play! How do I get started?
So, you've already got started along the right path...after all, you've already been sorted into the greatest house EVER...RAVENCLAW!!! There's always plenty of other people that are willing to help new members find their way around the site and Hogwarts. If you need someone to RP with, they why not send them a Visitor Message (VM) or a Private Message (PM) and ask them? Or if you're feeling outspoken, just jump right into a conversation in the Common Room or at the House table in the Great Hall! Overall have fun and let your creativity blossom!
9. Is there a Head Boy and Girl? Are there Prefects and Quidditch Captains?
Yes, Yes, Yes there is! You can always tell who holds one of these leadership positions because they have a badge under their name on the left side of all of their posts.

10. How do I chose a model for my character? How can I get graphics made for my character?
To choose a model for your character, just find an actress, actor, or other celebrity whose age and appearance closely resembles what you have in mind for your charrie. You can visit the Charrie/Celebrity Thread to see some of the models used by other charries across the site.
If you'd like to get graphics made for your charrie, visit Madame Malkin's and request a set from one of our talent members that have created shops for this purpose.
11. How quickly does time pass in the role play and how do I know what time of the year it is?
Each school year is what we call a term. So where students would usually go to school from September to June, our terms do not actually last a year IC. Each month the role play is equivalent to two weeks in real life, so you'll find that time flies fairly quickly for your charrie. As each month passes, an announcement will pop up with a yellow speaker icon indicating which month we are in. By clicking on this, it will then inform you on what the weather is like in the role play and you will be able to respond or role play accordingly. After all, you wouldn't wear a swimsuit when it's snowing outside.
