Dex grinned. "M'sure I could manage yer pace." He fancied himself a bit of a quick walker. He then turned his body toward the direction she had been pointing only a few moments ago, ready to start when she was. "Ya sure this won't be too much trouble?" He didn't really want to inconvenience her, but at the same time, he could do with some company.
She noticed the glances. Yes, she noticed. It wasn't as if the mystery man was trying to hide it, or if he was, he wasn't doing it well enough.
Emily's lips turned up into a private grin. She could get used to this, to him.
Handle it? Oh she was sure he could... what with that strapping physique of his. A part of her wanted him to take the lead, partly to satisfy her auror paranoia and partly so she could assess whether or not she liked the back of him as much as the front. She was only human. But of course, since he didn't know the area, that plan was moot.
"No trouble at all, you'd practically be walking me home..." more or less.
