She was delivering Prophet copies and being this weird girl running around Diagon Alley.
RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN. As if zombies were chasing. Nah, just messin' with ya. She just had to run fast. But she wished she had a broom which would make things easier.
Kat came into a halt once she stepped inside the shop. Oooooooooohh look at all those lovely JOKE OBJECTS and stuff! Kat looked around for a while... totally being brought out of...
The blonde shook her head. RIGHT. She was an intern and she was supposed to be doing her job. Curse you, eye-catchy things. The fifteen year old then went to the Front Counter, bringing along a smile. "Good day," Kat said. "My name's Katrina Hudson and I am an intern at the Daily Prophet. Here is your copy of the newest issue." Kat then placed a copy on the counter. You were going to be needing those, excuse me.
So... "Do you mind if I ask a few questions about what's going on in the shop?" Kat asked. "You know, like anything interesting or strange?" Besides the joke stuff, duh. She was a Daily Prophet intern, mind you. Another day in the shop and Wesley was still buzzing around like the happy little shopkeeper that he was. The shop was a little busier now that the students were out of school for the summer, and that made him happy. He was hoping to get more kids to check out the new toy shop. It was pretty cool, if you asked him.
As he stood behind the front counter, checking things off his list, Wesley saw a young teenager walk up. "Goooood afternoon! he replied cheerfully, whipping off his reading glasses as she started to speak. Ah, yes, the interns. How exciting.
Wesley took a peek at the Daily Prophet issue in front of him. "Interesting or strange?" Did she realize what shop she was in? "Everything is interesting and strange, my dear." His eyes seemed to twinkle as he looked around his shop. But anyway. "However, I have just recently created a new dimension to my shop." Wesley looked beyond the young Katrina Hudson and pointed to the far corner where lots of balloons and assorted and AWESOME toys were stacked on tall shelves. "Balloon stand and toy center. Brand spankin' new." GRIN. That was interesting, right? Yeeeees. |
