Annie nodded and waited for the answer. Personal goals, yes. Surely she had them? Even if they were as simple as...oh.... taking a trip or predicting lottery numbers or increasing the number of bangles in her jewlery collection.
And ah, there they were. "I have a son, yes, he is my pride and joy and the only child I will ever need in my life," Annie declared proudly, scooping a framed photo off her desk and passing it across to Callie. "I um," she paused as she tried to figure out all the possible MEANINGS behind the blonde's so serious answer, "I'm glad to hear that you're... on the right path now?"
Awkward. Maybe this young blonde was not right for the deputy position after all... still, she would keep her in mind. "Regarding the position," she switched back to the reason they were there, "do you have any questions for me? Regarding it?"
