Today was the day!

The Hogwarts Express had arrived a day or so ago, which meant summer was upon them and Diagon Alley was busy with Hogwarts students wandering around. And among them, there were the new interns she'd heard about.

Vashti was quite excited to meet them. It would be fun having a few extra hands around to help with the Post Office - especially now that her pregnancy was starting to show quite a bit and she sometimes felt she couldn't do as much as she had before. And it would only get worse as the next couple months passed. So yes, these interns would be a big help for her, Cliff, Quincy, and Elisa.

But it seemed none of her coworkers were there in the mail room yet? Well, hopefully one of them would remember to bring the snacks. Maybe that was why she was the first to enter.

She settled herself carefully in one of the chairs by the table to wait, ignoring the coffee pot. She wasn't supposed to have any. Meh.
