They could finally go home and Terry was insanely excited to get back home to see his mother, Uncle, Sister and not forgetting all of the animals. Despite how fun his first year at Hogwarts had actually been, Terry had missed them all a lot, more than he thought he would. As he got onto the front of the train, the now third year had a big smile on his face.
He wandered down the corridor, peaking into each room and deciding whether the person inside would be fun to sit with. Many of the students he hadn't met yet and decided to let them be, some looked sad and some just looked too scary and like they didn't want to be disturbed. The Slytherin carried on until he got to a carriage that contained a familiar face.
"BLISSY!" he exclaimed as he pushed the door open and bounced into the compartment. He placed Hope on the seat opposite and allowed Brie to run into his pocket and hide from the owl she didn't get along with. He twitched and tilted his head as he saw the look that was on Bliss' face. It certainly wasn't the same happy expression that Terence was showing.
"What's up?" he asked contemplating the silly question. "I mean, what's wrong. Because what's up is the roof and beyond the roof is the sky!" he chuckled. "And that wasn't what I was asking so I had to change the question." Yep, Terry was in a good mood.
"Anyway, cheer up Blissyface! We're going home!" he grinned.
A couple more tears escaped, as Bliss stared blankly out of the window. She shook her head slightly and tried to get a grip of herself. Think of happy things. She was going HOME, home had her family, her siblings who she couldn't wait to see. Tianna, Dylan, Sarah and Mark. MINI!BEAM. Then there were her parents, who she also couldn't wait to see. She...She knew her Dad would be fine, he was a survivor, but she wondered how her Mum was coping. Her mother was similar to her, almost always happy, but could become very emotional. She just hoped that she was fine.
SIIIIIIIGH.
Somehow, Bliss didn't think those thoughts were helping her at all. It was just in her nature to think negatively. She just...was like that. Either extremely happy, or extremely sad. Not fun at all. There was a noise as someone walked into the compartment, but Bliss refused to look up for a few second, as she wiped her tears away. Then she heard the familiar sound of...Hope, Terry's owl. TERRY. Without thinking, Bliss looked up at him. She couldn't help it. Even though Terry had taken Blue's side on the things that were happening at home, he was still her best friend. She BEAMed widely at him, before a mellow expression returned.
"Hello, Terry," she said as happily as she could. She listened to him carefully and hid a smile at his choice of questions. Very much Terry.
"It's just about the whole family thing and Blue changing her mind on staying. It feels like she hates me now, or something." she sighed again and blinked back tears. It only made sense to HER it seemed. Even her parents had suggested that she invite friends over and only Tag had taken her up on that offer. It wasn't like she'd gone against her family to invite people, they wanted her to. MELLOW.
She looked at Terry and let another tear escape.
"Yeah, we are," she said, with a tight smile.
