Hogwarts Express. And it was yet another self-isolation time for
Beezus. Not that she minded. She'd always been alone during train trips to and from the school ever since she could remember. It was greatly because she found the silent corners of a compartment that she'd occupy alone to be comforting when she was to reflect on what might happen before or what took place after a term.
This time was no different, except for the fact that she'd been wallowing in the pain coming from her abdomen since that early morning. She'd asked Elliot to stay with her but the blonde had plans with her boyfriend. Thankfully, she'd met Lex along the way and the young lioness handed her some caramel candies that, in her utter relief, had eased the unpleasant feeling in her stomach even just for a little bit. But now, she'd ran out of the treats. So, with arms wrapped around her stomach, she stepped out of
her compartment to purchase more sweets from the Food Trolley.
Eyes downcast, she pondered on what to buy if there were no caramels. Anything but chocolate that was for sure. Only did she lift her gaze when she heard footsteps ahead and then she saw him.
OOPS.
What was she doing there? Wasn't he supposed to be in the Prefect's compartment or wherever? Ugh. She didn't want to talk to him right now. No, no, no. Just...no. He said she looked old with her glasses on and she wasn't going to welcome that with open arms. Not even if it came from her boyfriend.
With that, Beezus quickly spun around and began striding back to her compartment.
