Resident Ghost of Ravenclaw | Intelligent & Evasive
OOO a story...and not just any story. THE STORY.
The Grey Lady floated towards the Headmistress but not toooo close since she knew how the woman felt about ghosts...you could see it written all over her face. Tate had appreciated them, but she wasn't sure about this new one.
When the Friar stopped speaking, she decided it was her turn to chime in, "For a few months, Isfret haunted the corridors of Hogwarts without causing any trouble but he was watching and waiting for the perfect moment to let his true colors shine. she said fondly and monotone but then her tone became almost frantic.
"Then one winter day, my lovely Ravenclaws were locked out of their tower. None of the passwords worked and by days end, the entrance was sealed. I assisted the Headmaster and other professors in attempting to undo whatever spell it was, but all efforts failed and the inhabitants of Ravenclaw were forced to sleep in the Great Hall for three long nights." she shook her head back and forth unapprovingly and crossed her arms..."Yes, sound familiar...what a nuisance!" she said rolling her eyes.
She then continued, "At the witching hour of the third night, I confronted Isfret " she put a lot of emphasis on the I and then on demanded in her next sentence, " and demanded he use his magic to unseal the tower. Isfret laughed and floated away. Furious with the evil ghost, I sought out Sir Nicholas. " she motioned to the ghost with a smile.
"When I came upon my fellow ghost, I saw that he was out of sorts and asked him what was wrong. Sir Nicholas held up a letter from Sir Patrick Delaney-Podmore and explained that he was again denied entrance to the Headless Hunt because the hunt was only for those who were properly decapitated. He then asked why I was there to see him and I explained the situation to him." she finished shaking her head up and down intently.
