Not that she was complaining. The badgers had done a nice job, really, winning both Quidditch and the House Cup. Shame it was Max's last term... speaking of, she'd be needing to do the speech soon. Annie reached for her water goblet to refresh her palette, only to find that... it wasn't there....
"I think the ghosts are pulling something on me again," she whispered loudly to the deputy headmaster, "my cup is missing!"
"Why would they do that to you, Annie?" Max asked as he leaned towards her while keeping his hands hidden from view.
"And speaking of the devil, they're right over there."
He nodded in the direction where the Bloody Baron and Fat Friar were conversing.
Now would she fall for it and look?
