Jake nodded, looking down at the table. It was weird to think that so many people he knew were leaving this year. He really didn't expect to care about people so much that he'd miss them when they graduated. It was... surprising.

Hearing Gideon say potions, Jake looked back at him quickly. "That's brilliant," he said, smiling instantly. "Good luck. Really." Potions was Jake's favorite subject, but he'd never thought about what he could do with it after school. Becoming a Healer, though... that sounded like a good idea. And Jake really hoped that Gideon got to it, if that's what he wanted.

He shrugged. "I have mixed feelings," he answered. "I'll miss... being here." Only for two months though. Then he was coming back. Which was something else he didn't expect to be happy about when he first started here.
