| Post 4: borrowing Kurumi's wind too. :P (and mention of Vickers) Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict As she continued moving past the invisible ice on the ground, Kendall had finally decided that she wasn't going to run into any more of that and stopped checking the ground every two steps or so. Instead, she trained her wandlight on everything around her. She hadn't forgotten about the acromantula, after all. She definitely didn't want to find out that it had followed her to get revenge or something and be surprised by it. Therefore she had to be vigilant. Especially because she hadn't seen any of her classmates yet, which was disconcerting on its own. Even without the fact she still heard the occasional scream or shout from elsewhere. That meant that they were in the maze, but not anywhere near her. Maybe I'm lost, she thought for a moment. All she could do was continue moving forward. Either she'd find someone else, get attacked again, or find the center and the bracelet. Or she'd end up back at the beginning, but either way, she wasn't going to be in this maze forever.
Turning another corner, she brightened slightly as her wandlight just barely made out someone ahead of her and she tried to make them out. "Vick-oof," she said, her question trailing off as she'd been picked up by the same gust that had picked up the older Claw and been slammed back into a hedge again. "Ow," she concluded, as she'd landed in a heap on the ground and regained her breath yet again. Several new scratches decorating her arms. That wasn't fun, she thought, trying to stand up again only to be knocked over once more. "Okay. Staying on the ground," she mumbled to herself, wondering why she had somehow ended up running into things that made her crawl twice in a row. Hopefully it meant she was getting closer to the center, so she started pulling herself along the ground, Muggle-army style, passing the other Claw slowly as she tried to stay as low to the ground as possible. Keeping her wand held out in front of her to light the ground as she tried to avoid the wind that was still blowing.
