She wasn't going to lie down on the ground... not with such a dangerous tree so close by. "Everything's been... relatively the same..." Melanie mused as she thought a bit about what had changed. Nothing came to mind for her at all. OH WAIT. "My daddy bought me a dog for my birthday!" Melanie exclaimed. That had been exciting. Yep. And that was it.
She looked up at the sky then back at Landon. "What about you?" she asked.
Landon watched as Melanie fixed her glasses and he shook his head.
"You need a sticking charm to your face for your glasses." He smiled a little. He actually wondered if that would be a good idea. Hmm...
He raised an eyebrow at her as she said that he missed nothing. He sat up, uncomfortable to be laying down on the grass alone, and looked up at the sky.
"Hmm...well I guess that's a good thing." He sighed. He looked over at her as she said she got a dog and he laughed at her excitement.
"What did you name it?" He asked, watching some people walk by them.
"Me? I already have a dog." The boy teased and then shook his head,
"but you already know what's been going on with me..." "Though...I just broke up with my girlfriend, so I guess that's new." Landon said, looking down at the ground.
